God bless America
Collectors note
America the Bear was introduced on 22nd March 2002 in order to raise funds for the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. It raised $2 million in total for the charity.
There were three versions of the bear released: a red version, a white version and a blue version.
America was retired on 3rd April 2002.
Item Special Note
Ken and Phyllis Hoy have owned this collection of Beanie Babies since they were released in stores during the 90's and early 2000's. They have been stored safely since they were purchased, with plastic tag covers protecting each of the TY heart tags, so they are in 100% like-new condition.
