2016 Lawer Estates Cabernet Sauvignon
The Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits depths of red with hues of purple. The aromas are bright, ripe, and forward with a strong concentration of blackberry and anise with vanilla and oak integration. The palate is dominated by ripe, sweet berry and cedar-oak qualities. The flavors are long and round, finishing with firm, pleasant tannins. This well integrated wine shows silkiness and finesse with overall balance and harmony.
2019 Lawer Estates Cannon Block Chardonnay
"Yellow straw color. Aromas of cinnamon-dusted apples, wild citrus, turmeric, and spice cake with a round, crisp, dry-yet-fruity light-to-medium body and a peppery, interesting, medium-length white pepper, creme anglaise, warm biscuit, and macadamia nut finish with coating tannins and moderate oak flavor. A zesty Chardonnay that will be a great match to richer fowl."
2018 Lawer Estates Viognier
The Lawer Viogner is brilliant with shades of yellow and flashes of green. The bouquet is fresh with orange marmalade, nectarines, and citrus. Flavors are reminiscent of peach and lemon zest, with a crisp bright mineral to the finish. The texture is medium-bodied and filled with fruit with a good underlying acidity to provide freshness. A harmonious finish of creamy texture and mouth feel with balanced acidity lures you back for another sip.
Maxville Cabernet Sauvignon 2015
There is a considerable amount of Petite Sirah (11%) blended within this wine, which helps emphasize its big power and concentration. Earth, soy, currant, cedar and graphite accent a core of juicy blackberry and chocolate-covered cherry.
