Want a custom designed piece of furniture for your home or office? OUR STUDIO | design provides a platform for customers to design individualized custom furniture and have it manufactured in their own community. From experience, you often know exactly what you want, but lack the knowledge of how to design it and then make it. Together, we make it possible- in OUR STUDIO | design.
HOW IT WORKS
- Discover: Send us inspiration images, social media posts, hand sketches, or a simple description of what you want.
- Design: From your inspiration, OUR STUDIO | design begins the process of sketching 5 unique concepts for your piece. We email you the sketches for you to review and critique. Once you narrow down the options of what you want, we schedule a virtual meeting to discuss any final changes and adjustments. We then email a photo-realistic render of your new design.
- Develop: Once you choose your final design, OUR STUDIO | design supplies a shop drawing that can be used to build your new piece of furniture. At this point, we can say farewell and you can take the blueprint of your new design to your local maker or construct it yourself! Alternatively – we can do it for you.
- Manufacture: OUR STUDIO | design can oversee the fabrication of the entire design, and have it delivered at your door. We find the best local makers & resources in your area to build your new design. We believe in the power of local collaboration. This not only streamlines the manufacturing operations, but it also reduces our overall carbon footprint, while simultaneously supporting your local community and economy.
This offer includes the entire design of the furniture piece and the cost of managing fabrication. If you choose to have OUR STUDIO | design oversee the fabrication of the piece, you will be responsible for paying the local independent maker.
