Item Description
"Gathering of Women," from Fiji by Matenga Kingi. Masks, body painting, and tattooing is a big part of Oceania's "living art." This piece showcases the closeness of women in the Fijian indigenous community. It is printed on tapa, also known as masi, made from the bark of the paper mulberry tree.
The print, #4 of a run of 300, is handsomely framed.
