Riverdog Farm CSA Organic Veggie Box
4-Week Delivery Subscription

Riverdog Farm's Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program delivers seasonal, organic produce directly from their farm to a convenient location in your neighborhood.  The CSA concept is based on mutual reliance between farmers and consumers (subscribers).  Each week you pick up a box of just-picked, organic, seasonal produce an ideal size for a household of two, or as a great mid-week supplement of fresh fruits and veggies. You can now add an order of bulk vegetables or fruit, Riverdog pork, or Riverdog chicken to your weekly CSA delivery from their web-store.

Our CSA is delivered weekly to pick-up sites throughout Napa, Lake, Solano, Yolo, Sacramento, Alameda counties and San Francisco. Each week you pick up the CSA box at your host site during designated hours. Each site has a sign-in list for members scheduled to pick up a box that week. Click on pins below to see cross streets of our weekly drop-off locations. Exact addresses are given to members once subscribed.

Riverdog Farm is a 450 acre certified organic, diversified family farm that grows vegetables, fruits, nuts, and raises chickens and pigs. We are located in the beautiful Capay Valley where rich creek-bottom soil, intense summer heat, and winter frost make exceptionally tasty fruits and vegetables. Since 1990 we have used a system of compost, crop rotation, cover cropping and hedgerow planting to keep our soil healthy and to promote a healthy ecosystem around our farm. Our animals are integrated into our farming system by providing natural fertilizer for orchards and fields and are all raised on organic pasture.

Our philosophy is that by taking care of our employees, land, and animals, we are helping to create a food system that is better for everyone—and one that tastes better too! As one of the first organic farms to sell at the Berkeley Farmers’ markets, we have been helping to bring organic, seasonal, local food to the fore of the sustainable food movement for over 25 years.

We employ 50 people year-round and have multiple generations of families working at our farm. Our farm crew is like family to us, and we would love to have our family’s food be a part of your table.

Item Special Note

Winning bidders located in Northern California may pick up their items in Napa at a location and date to be arranged -- details will be emailed to winning bidders. Items not picked up by March 5, 2021 will be mailed to the winning bidder, and purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs. (Note that we will automatically mail gift cards and gift certificates for free -- no need to pick those up.)

Items purchased by bidders residing outside of Northern California will be shipped on or around Tuesday, February 9, 2021 unless you tell us that you wish to pick up your item. Purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs. (Gift cards and gift certificates ship for free.) Please contact us at sbspcauction@gmail.com by February 8, 2021 if you plan to pick up your auction winnings.
