3-Night Stay at Tahoe Donner Gambrel A-Frame Cabin

Overview
This cozy, well-appointed Tahoe Donner cabin is your base camp for mountain activities and adventures, or for comfortably relaxing and enjoying some down time. Floor to ceiling windows in the main living space offer plenty of natural light and a gorgeous forested backdrop. The gas fireplace warms the cabin and adds to the cozy ambience. Enjoy the level driveway with easy access, even in wintery weather.

The Space
The cabin is a modified 'gambrel' A-frame, with the lower living area open to the upper level of the cabin -- where there is a loft area in addition to the second bedroom. The loft provides space to hang out in the comfy egg chair or do yoga; and provides extra sleep space with a queen Serta Plush air mattress.

The downstairs queen bed's down comforter will keep you warm and cozy through the night. Guests in the upstairs second bedroom will enjoy twin XL beds, providing "big kids" a comfortable place to stretch out.

Front and back decks are spacious, with adirondack chairs for lounging, and a Weber gas grill and picnic table seating on the rear deck.

The cabin is heated by the gas fireplace with thermostat settings. In addition, both bedrooms have Dyson heater/fan/purifier units.

Location
Tahoe Donner is located 10 minutes from downtown Truckee and 25 minutes from Lake Tahoe. In the winter, Tahoe Donner has its own family-friendly downhill ski area, an extensive cross-country skiing and showshoeing trail system with an amazing new lodge, a sledding and snowplay area, a Recreation Center with pools and fitness facility, several restaurants, and a small grocery store.

• March 19 - April 4
• April 30 - May 9
• June 4 - 14
• Aug 6 - 15

Item Special Note

Please note restricted dates above. Winner must contact donor with desired dates of stay and finalize booking by Feb. 15, 2021. Cleaning fees and taxes are included for the winning bidder -- no additional cleaning or tax fees will be charged during the 3-night stay.

COVID travel restrictions may interfere with travel and availability of Tahoe Donner amenities. 

Winning bidders located in Northern California may pick up their items in Napa at a location and date to be arranged -- details will be emailed to winning bidders. Items not picked up by March 5 will be mailed to the winning bidder, and purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs. (Note that we will automatically mail gift cards and gift certificates for free -- no need to pick those up.)

Items purchased by bidders residing outside of Northern California will be shipped on or around Tuesday, February 9, unless you tell us that you wish to pick up your item. Purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs. (Gift cards and gift certificates ship for free.)
