It can be enjoyed as an aperitif but also lends itself perfectly to red fruit desserts such as strawberry mille feuille and raspberry-white chocolate macaroons.

91 pts - Wine Spectator: “Lively acidity creates a crunchy frame for the flavors of pineapple, white peach and boysenberry fruit in this bright rosé Champagne with a lacy mousse. The lingering finish shows hints of toasted brioche, fleur de sel and an intriguing touch of Thai basil.”

Domaine 2019 De Nizas Languedoc Rosé, 1 bottle
A soft, fruity and fresh rosé with an appealing pale pink color and apricot highlights. Aromas of white peach, fresh currant, raspberry with hints of grapefruit peel. The palate is round and textural with flavors of ripe white fruits and shaved fennel. The wine finishes long and fresh.

Coeur 2018 CLEM Rosé, 1 bottle
The 2018 vintage is fruity, fresh and balanced. The nose reveals complex notes of guava, white flowers and a hint of freshly baked brioche. The fresh and crunchy palate on the attack is prolonged with a certain fullness and persistent fruitiness.

90 pts – KensWineGuide.com "Very Good+ “Balsam fir and waffle batter aromas spring from the glass on this delightful Grenache-driven Rose. Flavors include cantaloupe, gooseberry and white currant with hints of chamomile and jasmine tea. There is an insistent spice note that extends an already agreeable finish. This wine shows tremendous versatility and no need to wait until the summer months to enjoy. Consider pairing with spicy grilled shrimp skewers or cold orzo salad with feta cheese and black olives.”

Maison L'Envoye 2019 Beaujolais 'LeSaint Pale' Rosé, 1 bottle
The 2019 vintage of the “Le Saint Pâle” Rosé is delicate and lively yet fleshy and generous. Fleshy and dry, offering concentrated red berry and citrus fruit flavors and a sweetening touch of white peach. Finishes long and silky, with lingering floral and orange pith notes. The 2018 rendition of this wine is drinking wonderfully, by the way, showing sappy red fruit character and a thread of light, dusty minerality."

92 pts/Best Buy - Wine & Spirits: “This is a dry-grown blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon (with a little bit of Verdelho) from Vanya Cullen’s biodynamically farmed vineyard near the coast in Wilyabrup. There’s no oak to get in the way of this wine’s lovely fruit, the crunchy nectarine and kumquat flavors held tight, with a whisper of underlying creaminess at the liminal space between the earth and the sea.”

Greywacke 2020 Sauvignon Blanc, 1 bottle
Imagine a summer fruit salad – ripe golden peaches, honeydew melon, nectarines and passionfruit, with a generous splash of cassis and a sprinkling of lime zest – this is a subtle, delicately aromatic, ripe interpretation of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. The palate is generous and textural, showing great concentration and
finishing with a crisp, succulent finish.

94 pts - JamesSuckling.com: “A very fresh, lime and grapefruit nose with a gently herbal thread, as well as green passion-fruit notes. The palate has a captivating fusion of fresh acidity and rich, fleshy fruit flavors. Zesty and intense.”

John Duval Plexus 2018 Plexus Marsanne Roussanne Viognier, 1 bottle
The aim with Plexus MRV is to promote a vibrant expression of fruit aromas from the interaction of the three varieties; and on the palate, to build structure and texture, rather than just acid crispness. Aromas of stone fruits, honeysuckle and dried apricot. The medium bodied is textured with balanced acidity. Flavors of nectarine, mandarin and pear.

93 pts - Wine Enthusiast: “Delicate aromas of pear and apple skins, peach and citrus are flecked with honeysuckle and beeswax on the nose. Creamy yet balanced by bright acidity, a wet stone and wax character tucks away the fruit on the palate.”

Poggiotondo 2018 Chianti, 1 bottle
On the nose the wine is fruity and intense with strawberry, mint and dark cherry aromas over a mineral background. Ripe red fruit is layered on the palate and is balanced by grainy tannins, typical in traditional Chianti. The wine finishes with vibrancy and freshness.

Leeuwin Estate 2017 Prelude Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon, 1 bottle
Bright, lively and fragrant nose with blackcurrants and dark cherries, combining with higher notes of clove, cummin, black cardamon and star anise. Beneath subtle notes of coffee and cocoa lie in the background. Fine and delicately structured palate featuring boysenberries, blackcurrants and plums. Volume and density through the mid-palate is balanced with a bright mineral acid line, finishing with seamless tannins.

92 pts - James Suckling.com: “This has an array of bright, red-fruit aromas and flavors with a fresh and crunchy palate that offers a cedary-oak frame to the bright, redder-toned berries. Fresh, assertive tannins.”

Maison L'Envoye 2018 Two Messengers Pinot Noir, 1 bottle
The nose is a vibrant mixture of red berries, rhubarb, vanilla essence and clove. Crunchy cranberries and vibrant purple fruits fill the palate and are complemented by a savory truffle nuance. The palate is opulent but focused and the wine feels alive throughout its impressive length. Possibly the best Two Messengers made to date.

93 pts - JamesSuckling.com: “Deep scarlet. Lively, spice-accented red berry and cherry scents pick up floral and smoky mineral nuances with aeration. Juicy and expansive on the palate, offering vibrant raspberry and cherry cola flavors, along with hints of allspice and candied flowers. Closes very long, smooth and gently sweet, displaying resonating red fruit character and even tannins.”
