Item Description

Enjoy Nature Therapy and an Authentic Mexican Lunch with a View
at Pickle Creek Ranch - Mt. Veeder, Napa!

A healing day for up to 6 adults and 6 children in your social bubble.

Offered by hosts Sara Vietti and Jorge Lara, with special guest facilitator, Alison Delong.

You are invited to Pickle Creek Ranch on beautiful Mount Veeder, for a meaningful, but fun-filled afternoon in nature with some authentic tasty treats too! Bring the whole family to play, connect with nature, and then feast together atop the mountain and amidst vineyards and forest.

Our intention is to offer a reset for families who are ready to invite more curiosity and play, more nature-connection, and add a few new tools to ease and deepen your parenting journey, especially during this turbulent time.

Itinerary:
After a fun hour of nature games that get the whole family laughing amongst the dirt and trees, the adults and children will go their separate ways. While the children enjoy time in the garden and farm animal activities with Sara, Alison will hold space for parents to deepen into their hearts and fill their cups that often run on empty!

In these 2 hours of special adult time, we will learn some simple body awareness practices that invite you to return to your center and settle the nervous system (self-regulation). Join us in brain-storming ways to integrate daily adult self-regulation strategies and resources, in order to support our children's wellbeing (co-regulation).

Lastly, we will open up space to share your present truth along the bumpy journey of parenting. This sacred talking circle offers the feel of a village of open hearts willing to listen, which invites honest voices, willing to be vulnerable. We will close with a simple ritual to ground in any new discoveries, before reuniting with the children at the end of our day.

A short but steep hike will unite us all for lunch at the top of the ridge, with surrounding panoramic views. Sara's husband, Jorge Lara, unofficial Mexican chef de cuisine, will prepare an authentic meal inspired by the food of Jalisco... guacamole as the starter, of course, and a homemade dish of your choice (vegetarian options available). Not your typical Mexican-restaurant fare (sour cream and cheddar cheese? NO!)! Perhaps you choose pork ribs in homemade tomatillo salsa or pollo entomatado (chicken in a special roasted pepper and tomatillo stew), possibilities abound and your input is welcome!

We can't wait to host you at the ranch!
