Item Description
Hand Woven by RMRP Founding Executive Director and Board of Director President, Judy Scherpelz
Ka'ena Point Sunset
Ka'ena Point is the westernmost tip of the Hawaiian island O'ahu. Polynesian tradition considers this narrow strip of shoreline to be the place of departure from the island for souls traveling from this life to the next. Viewed from the steep bluff above the Point, colors and textures of the sea, surf, rock, and sand blend into a rich tapestry against the setting sun. Softer than the fine sand on the beaches and warmer than the sun. This luxurious overlength blanket, hand crafted from merino wool, mako cotton, and silk, was inspired by these images.
The blanket is 84" long x 28". It is made from silk, merino wool, and mako cotton. Hand-wash cold. Lay flat to dry.
