This set of books give a sense of the layman's science literature more than 50 years ago. It includes:
Birds of North America - a 1996 field guide, paperback, with color illustrations of over 800 species and 600 range maps; Arthur Singer's famous illustrations featuring male, female, and juvenile plumage; sonograms that picture sound for easy song recognition; and migration routes, feeding habits, and characteristic flight patterns.
The Sea - one volume of the Life Nature Library, this is a 1963 8-1/2 x 11" hardback is made up of text chapters, with marginal illustrations on specific points, along with stand-out picture essays (both b/w and color).
Our Earth - This volume appears to be one of the predecessors to the Banner Press Earth, Sea and Sky book, sharing four of the six cover illustrations with that volume. (It has no other identifying information.) The contents include the earth's origin, composition, sources of change, its waters, climate and its pollution by man. Numerous color photographs and illustrations.
All are used, in good condtion.

For the cheapest and quickest access to your books, plan to pick them up in Guerneville shortly after the auction. (Times and location will be sent to winning bidders.)
For those living in Sonoma County, we offer personal delivery right to your door for only $10 (all going to Stewards). Instructions for delivery will be provided in the winning bid confirmation email.
If arrangements for pick-up or delivery are not set up, books will be mailed to the address provided, and shipping costs will be charged. If no address has been provided, the sale will be void in 30 days, the winner may treat their bid as a tax-deductible donation to Stewards, and the book will be resold at a future auction.
