Item Description
Early Spring migration arrival in Fort Collins often leaves Turkey Vultures (Cathartes aura) standing in the snow. Photographer Susan Baptista captured a small kettle of Turkey Vultures with cold feet. As the sun rose after the overnight snow the Vultures assume the classic heraldic pose in order to warm themselves.
8x10 photograph of Turkey Vultures in late spring snowstorm. Photograph is matted and framed for final size of 17"x 14". Ready to hang.
Susan J. Baptista is an avid landscape and nature photographer with a passion for photographing raptors. She has intense knowledge of raptor behavior which allows her to capture them in their natural surroundings for all to enjoy.
