Item Description

The Battle of Gettysburg was a significant Union victory considered by many to be the turning point of the Civil War. In the summer of 1863, Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee launched his second invasion of the Northern states. North & South collided at the crossroads town of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, on the morning of July 1, 1863. The battle that transpired resulted in an estimated 51,000 casualties on both sides, the bloodiest single battle of the entire war.

Invite your family and friends to share in this 2-part Zoom lecture experience as historian and BIB Board Member Ray Sprenkle brings the Battle of Gettysburg to life, right in your own home!

Schedule each session at your leisure (subject to lecturer's availability).
