Photgrapher Max Waugh captured this Common (Eurasian) Kingfisher perched above a small pond, looking for a meal. It was taken in Ranthambore National Park, India. It is printed on lustre paper. Standalone photograph. No mat or frame. The watermark will not be shown in the actual photo.

Artist Bio: For nearly two decades, Max has been photographing wildlife, travel and sports professionally. He has been awarded in the last two Wildlife Photographer of the Year competitions (including the final Black and White category win in 2019), and received the most commendations in the 2017 Nature's Best Windland Smith Rice Awards. Max's work has appeared in such publications as Africa Geographic and ESPN the Magazine, and has been displayed at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C., and the Natural History Museum in London.
Max leads photo tours in the Yellowstone, the Pacific Northwest, and overseas, with a heavy emphasis on biodiversity and destinations that offer a variety of subject matter.
