Item Description
This auction item is for a set of four original paintings of "Elephant Eyes" by Gabriela Sepulveda.
Size: They are all 4 x 6 inches
From the Artist: Gabriela was inspired by The Big E, an exposition in Massachusetts where elephants would give rides. Whenever she would walk by them, they looked so sad, and she didn't understand how everyone else didn't see it. Gabriela says, "I chose eyes with light and life because that's what I want for them."
Artist Bio: Gabriela Sepulveda, also known as The Ivory Bunny, is from San Juan, Puerto Rico, currently lives in Springfield, Massachusetts. She holds a Bachelors in Fine Arts from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) and a Masters in Graphic Design from Atlantic University College.
Gabriela looks at her art as an escape. Her art serves as a gentle reminder that life, all life, is beautiful and should be protected. She combines elements of both flora and fauna to create a type of surrealist portraiture with the voice of conservation behind it.
