Item Description
11 bottles of 750ml each 2016 Inkberry Cabernet Sauvignon Mountain Estate (New South Wales, Australia).
Inkberry is part of Distinguished Vineyards & Wine Partners along with an unique collection of traditional and contemporary wine brands from some of the world's most coveted wine regions. The domestic portfolio includes the Argyle Winery in Oregon's Willamette Valley and MacRostie Winery in Sonoma, California. Imported wines include St Hallett from the Barossa Valley in Australia, Wither Hills from Marlborough in New Zealand, and Inkberry from Australia. Inkberry's Mountain Estate high elevation vineyards are located in New South Wales, Australia, and the extreme elevation exposes their grapes to an intense amount of sunlight and ultra violet rays. This generous sunlight gives their grapes an amazingly dark, inky color - and so the Inkberry name was adopted. Debbie Lauritzi came back to Australia after serving as winemaker in a number of foreign countries, and has gained great respect for Inkberry. This Cabernet is an especially fine example of her talents. Dark berry fruits and ripe plums with a subtle hint of chocolate and spice. Ripe juicy fruit adds a touch of sweetness, and subtle flavors of oak adds a special texture. An interesting achievement and a great value. Well worth your interest.
