Item Description
Ramazzotti Wines, LLC., Geyserville
Case 2017 Zinfandel
The Ramazzotti family have been growing grapes and making wine in the Dry Creek Valley since they came from Italy in the 1950s. Ramazzotti winery is now a leading, fruit-driven wine producer in Sonoma County producing traditional local wines, specializing in Italian varietals and blends.
The winning bidder on this item will receive a case of 2017 Zinfandel. The Zinfandel vineyard was planted in 1982 by Paul DenBeste on the Alexander Valley floor and has been the home of Ramazzotti Wines Zinfandel for the last ten years. These old Zinfandel vines are pruned in a raised single-cordon style to showcase the vineyard’s unique characteristics.
The wonderful, elegant 2017 Zinfandel exhibits notes of red berries on the palate, while the nose shows off the classic California style Zinfandel notes of spicy white pepper, plum preserves and a unique floral finish. A versatile wine that is great to enjoy on its own but pairs well with barbecued and grilled meats, gumbo and your favorite taco.
