Item Description
Emma is an aquarelle painting on acid free paper
Size: 9×12 inches
Wildlife SOS rescued Emma earlier this year. She was in a tragic state. Her feet were so bad, she would alternate picking up her left foot then her right like she was stepping on hot coals. Our vets discovered she had deep holes in her feet embedded with sharp stones, nails, and glass.
Emma is now getting the care she needs. She is getting pain medicine hidden in fruits. Maybe the first fruit she has ever had. Emma has been the most inquisitive elephant we have rescued. She is eager to explore everything and rewards the team with rumbles and delightful squeaks! So far, her favorite foods seem to be cauliflower and cabbage!
Artist Bio: Lena Erlandsson is a self-taught artist in the south of Sweden. She loves experimenting in different motifs, materials, and techniques.
