About the artist:
Joann Cappon was born in Mexico City. She studied painting at the national school of painting, sculpture and engraving "LA ESMERALDA" and at the academy of San Carlos in the same capital.
At an early age Joann came into contact with painting. For her; happy moments smell like paint, oil and linseed oil workshop. Joann Finds in painting an opportunity to reflect part of her essence and her work is the best vehicle to meet this creative and highly sensitive being. When life presents to her moments of doubt, she takes the brush and produces works full of light and color. Works in which she reflects her vision of the world, taking Inspiration from her environment and from the work of the great masters, in whose works she finds reasons for marvelous inspiration.
A tireless promoter of culture and artistic education, she has managed to balance the production of her plastic work with her roles as woman, teacher, wife and mother.
