Enjoy a guided duck hunt in the legendary Pacific Flyway at the Butte Ranch Hunting Lodge. Your visit will include a private guest suite, guided duck hunt, and all meals to be included.

The Butte Ranch is located in Live Oak, California - a 2-hour drive from Novato. You'll need to have all applicable hunting license(s)- we can help you obtain what you need. Hunt will be during the 2021-2022 hunting season, roughly October to January.

There are only 7 owners of this private ranch that has a beautiful 9-bedroom lodge. The ranch is located on 'millionaire row' one of the best hunting spots in the world.

The Butte Ranch is a historic, exclusive, private hunting club perfectly positioned at the base of the Butte Mountain Range in the world famous Pacific Flyway. Stretching from the Bering Strait off the coast of Alaska to the southernmost tip of South America, the Pacific Flyway ranks as one of the greatest migratory pathways in the world. Millions of birds representing hundreds of species use this great avian highway each year, and nowhere is this abundance of wildlife more accessible than right here in Butte County. The opportunity to hunt this land is a once in a lifetime opportunity as it's by invitation only.

The Clubhouse: A beautiful, classic, hunting-style lodge clubhouse, consists of 9 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a large common space with a warming rock fireplace, exposed wood beams complete with lodge style furnishings. The clubhouse is surrounded by lawns for dog exercise, a horseshoe pit and clay pigeon shooting station. It is situated approximately a mile from the boat dock and wetland hunting grounds, which are accessible by a gravel road through adjoining walnut orchards. Also you'll find outbuildings consisting of a "boat barn" and a metal barn for ranch equipment, a decoy storage shed, a duck hanging facility for plucking and dog kennels.

The Ranch:185 acres of premier waterfowl hunting grounds, of which 20 acres consist of an oak savannah and fields forming excellent habitat for deer, wild turkeys, doves, and quail. The seasonal dove hunting on the Butte Ranch is excellent. This acreage is a perfect example of conservation, preserving these rare exclusive wetlands for future generations. You will be impressed with the awesome native marsh land. How exciting it is to experience the thousands of waterfowl flying straight into the Butte Ranch on their way south!?
