Item Description

You are bidding on a $165 gift certificate to the Blue Heron Bed & Breakfast on the Mandeville lakefront.

Blue Heron, named Louisiana's 2019 B&B of the Year by the Louisiana Travel Association, is located on the North Shore of Lake Pontchartrain, just 30 minutes from New Orleans. It is conveniently located in Old Mandeville within walking distance of all the local hotspots, including the lakefront, Tammany Trace Biking/Walking Trail, Dew Drop Jazz and Social Hall, the Pontchartrain Yacht Club, restaurants, shops, farmers markets and more.

Blue Heron is owned and operated by Northshore natives Steven and Sarah Federer. Steven is a former restaurateur, and Sarah is a natural health and wellness educator, event coordinator, and second-generation B&B owner. They are passionate about making Blue Heron feel like a home away from home for their guests.

Blue Heron is the perfect place for guests who value privacy and like to do things at their own pace. It has two luxurious guest suites, each with a king size bed, private bath, dining area, refrigerator, microwave, coffee service, and essential oil diffuser. Each suite is accessed by its own private entrance from a large porch that overlooks the property's gardens. Guests can relax on their private porch area with rocking chairs, dining table and daybed, and  outdoor curtains for additional privacy. There's even a fire pit in the garden for guests who wish to relax fireside. The daily continental breakfast consists of fresh pastries, English quiche, fresh fruit, and more. Breakfast is fully stocked in the room each afternoon so that guests can wake and dine at their leisure in the morning.
