Constructed by the Moser family in the early 1990s, Maple Run has supplied many wonderful memories in its nearly 30 year existence. In close proximity to Camp David, Maple Run was once a favorite destination of President Bill Clinton during his time in office.
In 2004, the course was used for the filming of the popular TV show The West Wing. As you play, walk the same greens as Martin Sheen, Richard Schiff and other members of The West Wing cast.
Over the years the course has opened its doors to a number of golfers from all walks of life. From celebrities to politicians; first time golfers to child prodigies, Maple Run is truly a course for all to enjoy.
Maple Run is an 18 hole par 72 golf course that offers a challenge for golfers of all skill levels. The front 9 has a relatively open layout with small drastically sloped greens. Depending on pin locations, some of the greens can be downright diabolical. The back 9 scenically takes golfers through the woods for a much tighter test, but has larger and easier greens. The stark difference in the two 9s allows for players to try a wide variety of shots.
The Maple Run pro shop is stocked with all the basic necessities of an individual ready to play golf. Offering a variety of items like balls, tees, hats, shirts, towels, and gloves, we can get you course-ready at reasonable prices.
Our snack bar is equipped with food and drinks to satisfy the appetites of a hungry golfer. Whether you're craving one of our famous slow-cooked hot dogs, soft pretzels, or an assortment of snacks & candies, you will surely find something to enjoy. We also serve a variety of soft drinks, sports drinks, bottled waters, and alcoholic beverages.
