Item Description
Gumi Malhotra is based in Bangalore, India and has been an avid supporter of the work that Wildlife SOS does. With her stunning skill to bring the canvas to life, Gumi has stunned us with her artwork on our rescued animals, time and again.
Wildlife SOS rescued Suraj from a temple in Maharashtra where he was used for processions. When he was poached from the wild, he lost his left ear in the tragic tussle and came to be known as the “one-eared elephant”. Suraj recuperates under our care, 5 years into his healing journey. In this breathtaking painting, our regal tusker can be seen in the middle of a relaxing dust bath, on his long evening walks as the sun sets. This painting is available in size 24.5 x 29 inches.
The painting is acrylic medium on canvas.
