Two-night Camping Trip for up to 6 people
Joey Fernandez and Elege Simons Harwood will take your kids camping! We will take care of meals, transportation and camping gear, if needed. We will take a group of kids camping, ages 5 and up, to explore and fall in love with our New Mexico wilderness.
About Joey Fernandez
Joey is currently an investigator with the Law Offices of the Public Defender. He is also a retired Master Sergeant after serving 22 years in the Army. After many long hours of work, there is nothing he likes better than getting out into nature to camp, hunt and fish. Preferably all at the same time. He could easily be happy with just a sleeping bag and possibly a lean-to, but his family insists on comfort while camping. As a result, he has become an expert on setting up campsites. Joey is the father of Isabel, a 2013 graduate of Arts & Sciences and Jenna, a current 7th grader.
About Elege Harwood
Elege Simons Harwood is a 4th generation New Mexican, and was born and raised in Santa Fe. She is very grateful to be able to raise her family in Santa Fe and has been fortunate to be able to be home while raising her three boys, Steck, an Arts & Sciences Alumnus, Meyer, who is a 5th grade Badger, and Archer, who is a 2nd grade Stargazer, with her husband Kyle Harwood. Elege received her A.A. in Philosophy from New York University and B.A. in Psychology from the College of Santa Fe. She received her J.D. at the University of New Mexico School of Law. Elege is a lawyer by training, focused on domestic relations with a practice including mediation, divorce, domestic violence, custody and child support issues. When not enjoying the outdoors or snuggling with her boys, she enjoys running up mountains with her dad and siblings, cooking, reading, puzzling.
