The Ross Suite

The suite’s furnishings are reminiscent of the Old World Italian countryside. The king-size bed features special scrollwork-adorned headboard with gold and silver filigree trimmings. The velvet and chenille bedspread is accented with decorative crown and velvet pillows trimmed with gold cords. The television is artfully hidden in an arch-topped princess armoire. A corner wrought iron and stone gas (seasonal) fireplace and down comforter add to the suite’s ambiance.  Reflect on the elegance of the handcrafted hearth featuring stones cleared in the early 1800s by the original pioneers of the Landoll estate.  The bay window, with privacy blinds, overlooks the breakfast terrace and flower garden.  The stately bathroom includes heated, Italian-tiled floors; a cozy Jacuzzi tub tucked into a barrel-ceiling alcove, overlaid with imported Italian tiles in rich, soothing red hues; Gothic-style Étagère stand with marble shelving; exquisite mirrors and a glass-enclosed shower complete the room’s golden splendor.  The arched, crafted walnut private door reflects warm hues of the hand-applied, faux-finished walls and ceilings complete with hickory hardwood beams. All hardwoods are milled directly from the Landoll estate.  The dining area features custom cabinetry with barley twist handles, granite countertops, elegant copper fixtures, a microwave, mini-refrigerator/freezer and wet bar. The marble dining table, surrounded by four woven leather strapped chairs accented with gold tassels, completes the amenities. The suite includes two televisions with Direct TV. DVD movie rentals are available upon request.  With the full-size sleep sofa, the suite comfortably accommodates two to four guests and is on the first level.

The Hess Suite - The glow of the morning sun is reflected off the hand-applied, faux-finished walls, accented by hardwood, hickory-beamed ceilings and floors. All hickory is milled from the Landoll estate.  The suite is tastefully appointed with the rich feel and look of leather. A hand-tooled leather and iron crown headboard adorns the king-size bed, accented by uncommonly large pillows. Sink into the smooth leather recliner after dinner, or take an afternoon nap on the overstuffed, queen-size sleeping sofa.  Featuring a spacious sitting area, this suite comfortably accommodates two to four persons and is wheelchair accessible.
The bathroom showcases luxurious amenities: A terrace view from the bay window, adorned with a brocaded valance and blinds; marble sink with brass fixtures; a mirror encircled with unique, hand-painted porcelain tile featuring medieval Chinese figures and Italian marble-tiled walls; heated, Italian-tiled floors; cozy Jacuzzi tub tucked into a barrel-ceiling alcove; and a glass-enclosed wheelchair-accessible shower.  Gather around the wrought iron and stone gas (seasonal) fireplace for memorable conversations. Admire the craftsmanship of the hearth made with stones found in the original stone fences built by the early 1800s pioneers when they first settled the Landoll estate.  The arched hickory windows look out onto the castle’s terrace and garden view.  With a touch of elegance throughout, this suite is equipped with a host of amenities: The convenience kitchen features custom cabinetry with barley twist handles, granite countertops, and copper fixtures. Enjoy relaxed conversations around the unusual iron-based copper-topped table while sitting in woven leather strapped chairs. A microwave, mini-refrigerator/freezer and easy-reach wet bar complete the conveniences. The suite includes a television with Direct TV. DVD movie rentals are available upon request.
