Item Description
In this painting Belinda Stewart captures Rose posing sprightly in front of a Indian flowering tree.
Rose was rescued as a cub after having her paw caught in a snare. She limped around using her muzzle as a leg. Now she's getting around much better. And even climbs trees!
Size: Original watercolor in 8 x 10 inch mat.
About the Artist: Belinda Stewart lives in St. Augustine, Florida. She works in all mediums but favors watercolors. She studied in private classes with famed watercolorist Mun Quan and art classes at Jacksonville University. All her watercolors are painted on professional Arches watercolor paper with Windsor Newton paints.
From the Artist: "Wildlife SOS has captured my heart with their ongoing love and care for all the animals retiring at their sanctuaries. From freeing Raju from chains and the legal battles to rescue sweet Mohan, it is an ongoing endeavor to save as many as possible. Since being retired, it has been pure joy seeing a photo posted of an elephant, bear or leopard and setting it aside to become inspiration for my watercolors and acrylics."
