Item Description

Vintage wood mantel piece, optional hanging hardware will be included. Carved, chalked and some paint, sealed matte finish. The tusk is epoxy inlay. Size: 13-3/4" wide x 14-3/4" high x 2-1/4" deep.

Carved on reclaimed wood from the floorboards of the historical Hubbard-Cooke building on the west bank of the Flats in Cleveland, OH. This wood is from 1892 and even has scars, nail holes, and imperfections which add to the uniqueness of this piece. The piece can be freestanding for display on a mantle, table, desk, etc.

Anthony was a contractor on the renovation of this building when he was with the Batton Group. A Cleveland doctor hired their group to do this building along with several others. The doctor liked the sound of our last name - and the rehabbed Hubbard-Cooke is now "The Galewood", luxury lofts.
