Item Description
Cape Porpoise, Maine is a hidden fishing village forgotten by time. I love to Kayak in this little harbor collecting ideas for paintings and just enjoying amazing views in every direction. Wildlife is easy to spot as I glide quietly over the water. Occasionally a seal will pop up out of the water creating rings, then quickly disappears. There are little rustic fishing shacks dotting the shore mixed with summer cottages and a church steeple peeking over the treetops. I was inspired to paint the harbor with the fishings boats as it is such a peaceful scene.
The original painting was created with acrylic paints on a Maple wood panel.
