Item Description

This is your chance to create magic and adventure with six nights/seven days in Nicaragua. A villa with room for friends and family, access to great local cuisine--Cervecería, Tostadería, Ikal--and ample activities are at your finger tips, including horseback riding, cigar plantation tours, ATV rentals, disc golf, and zip lining. Stories will abound! Use it as a launching pad for one/two-day trips: it's close to several spectacular surf beaches and the town of San Juan del Sur, which is super hip and fun; tour a coffee estate and learn about the growing process, then return for a freshly brewed cup of coffee and a delicious bowl of frijoles y huevos sopa; Ometepe (a volcanic island) is a close visit; Granada's beautiful colonial city on Lake Nicaragua offers tours of the isletas; León is roughly three hours away and boasts hikes/volcanoes, beaches, and fabulous architecture including the big cathedral where you can do a rooftop tour.  Your biggest challenge will be prioritizing which fun to have, and when!

Item Special Note

Please note that this is a loft space that sleeps seven or eight (is more comfortable with five or six), three baths, indoor/outdoor decks, appealing to those who want an adventure and/or are surfers. Need to be able to drive four-wheel drive. There is public transportation but guests need to be physically capable of walking 20 minutes to transportation.  This home is 2.5/3 hours drive from Managua airport and a similar amount of time from Liberia airport in Costa Rica (which has direct flights from NYC), but there is a boarder crossing and you need to rent a car in Nicaragua.
