This beautiful 6-bedroom, 4-bathroom renovated home on 5 private acres in the picturesque town of New Paltz, NY in the Hudson Valley is the perfect country getaway for you and your family and friends!

The "Hudson Valley River Retreat" is a true river front home that is both modern and rustic. We have recently in 2020 made many updates to the house. It is about a 12-16 minute drive to Lake Minnewaska for hiking trails, Mohonk (cross-country skiing, fishing, hiking), other cross-country skiing trails, lots of farms and farmers markets.

You will have a private deck with a Weber grill and outdoor dining area that overlooks the river. We just added a private office with a large desk (great for remote working!), couch and a bar with a wine fridge in the basement. There is also now a new gym with a Peloton, yoga mats, weights, and workout ball with another private office. We also have a newly renovated bathroom there with Kohler and Grohe fixtures. The basement has large windows and sliding doors where you can walk right out to the river. We have new central AC and heating controlled by mostly Nest thermostats to keep you cool or warm depending on the season.

There is an outdoor fireplace by the water, 2 swings that face the river, kayaks, a garage converted game room (not heated though) with table tennis, foosball and darts, and a working fireplace in the living room and master bedroom. Enjoy peaceful views of the river and woods out of almost every window. We have added a baby/toddler playroom too, there's a crib, pack and play, high chair that you can use too.

The kitchen is fully equipped with pretty much all the cooking supplies and spices you will need - we love to cook in this house! There are lots of pots, pans (including cast iron and copper nonstick), spatulas, knives, cutlery, serving ware/plates/bowls, cups, glasses, chopping boards and mugs (for more than 12 people). We tend to have pretty much all the spices you will need (like over 25). There is a coffee maker, semi-automatic expresso/cappuccino machine, 2 blenders (NutriBullet and Ninja), 2 rice cookers, baking and cupcake pans. I have stayed in this house with 20 family members, so we made sure the kitchen is stocked with equipment. The kitchen cabinets are labelled for your convenience. 

There is central AC and heat controlled by mostly Nest thermostats. We also have about 4 space heaters you can use for additional heat. There is radiant floor heating in the master bathroom, dining room, and basement bathroom.

The house has two smart TVs - you will have access to most channels (including HBO), of course Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, etc. You can also use our wireless landlines too for local calls. There is a HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 All-in-One Wireless Printer with Mobile Printing (can AirPrint with your iPhone) with copy, scan, fax, wireless printing, AirPrint, two-sided duplex printing, color touchscreen that you can use.

Located by farmer's markets, vineyards, farms, Mohonk Mountain House, Hudson Whiskey Distillery (Tuthilltown Spirits Distillery - you can go on tours there). Up the road from us is Robibero Family Vineyards where you can do wine tastings and they have events too.

There is a swimming pool that is a mere 5-minute drive from the house. Beautiful Lake Minnewaska beach where you can swim is only a 12 minute drive to the house.

For mountain climbers, Shawangunk Mountains in Gardiner is a mere 7-minute drive from us.

You can go skydiving at Skydive at the Ranch - only an 8-minute drive

Monday May 31 to Friday June 4
Any 5 nights in September (except for 9/12 to 9/19)
Any 5 nights in October (except Halloween weekend)

The item may be picked up at Third Street Music School May 7th and 8th between the hours of 10 am and 4 pm, after May 8th by appointment, or mailed via USPS. Items expire a year from the auction close unless otherwise noted.
