Item Description
Notes from the Winemaker:
The Lindstrom 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon shows very pretty, perfumed aromas of candied cherries fresh red raspberries, and blackberry tea. Soft at entry, the mid- palate shows a profound sense of density and strength, but wrapped in satiny tannins. At the finish, a lovely combination of ripe dark cherries, cocoa powder, chai tea and a touch of sweet earth grace the palate.
The Lindstrom’s Estate Nicali Vineyard, in Stags Leap District, was harvested entirely by hand in small batched between September 19th and 28th, 2017. The fruit was destemmed, lightly crushed, and fermented in separate lots, left on skins for an average of 3 weeks prior to pressing, then allowed to age in French oak barrels for approximately 19 months. The wine was bottles without fining or filtration in May, 2019.
