Item Description
Chateau Pontet Canet 2000: This wine has a very intense color. The powerful nose features an excellent balance between fruit (blackberry, raspberry) and wood (liquorice, toasty notes). On the palate, the attack is full but very mild. This wine stands out with its fine length and imposing structure - a characteristic of great Pauillacs - made up of extremely smooth tannins. The finish shows no trace of aggressiveness and is very long.
Chateau Pontet Canet 2005: This wine has a very intense color and nose, marked by notes of cherry, blackberry and redcurrant with traces of vanilla, liquorice and cedar. The attack is full to the palate. The tannins of great smoothness reveal a fine elegance. The finish, with no trace of aggressiveness, is marked by a good length.
Chateau Leoville Barton 2005: With an attractive deep violet color, closed nose, and powerful tannins, this is a wine with great aging potential.
