Item Description

ASIAN ELEPHANT Limited Edition Giclée Print by Nathan Ferlazzo

12 x 17 inches (297 x 420mm)

This limited edition print was created to support World Animal Protection (WAP) and explores the flora and fauna of Asia. Printed on 300gsm archival paper using high quality Epson pigment inks. It includes the Marini Ferlazzo embossment, validating it as an authorised giclée print that conforms to archival standards.

This Asian Elephant print really struck me not only with its beauty but also its poignant symbolism. As a keystone species, elephants are critical to the entire ecosystem in the way they normally travel long distances and disperse seeds of so many species, just as one example. I believe art inspires and is a gentle yet impactful way to enlighten and promote ethical choices. Marini Ferlazzo generously donated this print to support Wildlife SOS in its efforts to advocate and care for Asian elephants in India.

Can you spot these animals in the illustration: Agile Gibbon, Asiatic Black Bear, Bornean Orangutan, Chinese Pangolin, Clouded Leopard, Common Green Magpie, Draco Lizard, Giant Ibis, Giant Panda, Glassy Tiger Butterfly, Great Hornbill, Indian Cobra, Indian Rhino, Japanese Macaque, Komodo Dragon, Lesser Bird of Paradise, Malayan Tapir, Philippine Eagle, Red Panda, Slow Loris, Snow Leopard, Sumatran Tiger, Tarsier and Wild Yak.
