Item Description
Acrylic Paint on a 40.5 x 30.5cm canvas.
It’s important to celebrate the transitions of life. Sometimes unintended outcomes that feel devastating in the moment turn out to be the most pivotal moments in our lives. These moments change who we are as a person and it forces us to break out of old habits and grow into our fullest potential. In order to be a beautiful butterfly, the caterpillar needs time to rest and grow. The next time a transition occurs in life, take that time to be still, re-evaluate what is important and analyze how you can grow from the situation. It is too easy to avoid growth by fulling our minds with distractions. The courageous thing to do is to lean into the discomfort and address any dissonance you feel in your life. Face fears head on, be true to what you are feeling inside, let those emotions come to the surface instead of burying them down into the depths of your soul. We are all constantly learning and growing. There will never be a time when we have it all figured out. I hope that we can welcome change with open arms and find value in all life’s transitions.
