Gerry Warkenthien, a career chef, with an expertise in New American Cuisine, taking influences from French and Italian Flavor Profiles is offering the lucky family of 4-6 diners a private luxurious experience at their own home in the City and five boroughs. Warkenthien, graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education, who catapulted his career working as an apprentice for the 2 Michelin Star Omakase, Sushi Ginza Onedera , have worked since with numerous local neighborhood locations including the famed Jean-George and other beloved restaurants around the City.
Your private chef for the evening or lunch will be offering a 5-course tasting menu, catering toward any Dietary Allergies and preferences with a meal focusing on French-American and Italian- American with slight North African Influences, suited for a Modern American Palate. Celebrate your taste buds and Impress your family and friends with Gerry’s unassuming and unpretentious extraordinary meal from A-Z, and make it an event to remember.
With the tasting menu package comes grocery shopping, all ingredients, and a timeframe of 2 hours prior and one hour after the dinner for cleaning, sanitation and COVID protocols which will be held to professional kitchen standards.
• The Menu will be finalized and drafted a week prior to the event with substitutions allowed up to 48 hours ahead of time.
• A portion of the dinner prep will be done offsite Any other accommodations in regard to health and safety can be discussed further.
• A closing time of about an hour will be required to clean as well as cater to any other needs.
• The discussed date of the dinner would be required to be a minimum of 7 days after the auction.
