Item Description

This is a hand-turned pen that my husband and I made a few years back and I happened upon just in time before the close of the auction. We make them together but he does the turning on the lathe and assembling and, unfortunately, is battling a recurrence of cancer over the past 2 years and has not been able to work in his shop. But we are hopeful for next year!

This is the Carbara Twist Pen in black chrome hardware which he turned with a fairly wide body, making it great for people with arthritis. The body is curly maple which I stained with peacock blue and then decorated it with little ellies on both sides. Then the word ELEPHANT runs along the body of it in tiny script, making the ellies pop out from the background. It's bright, fun and, best of all, it's all about your love of pachyderms!

It comes in a cute pen box and with a spare refill.
