Item Description
One (1) one hour workshop for a group of 10 to 25 parents. Invite a group of friends, perhaps all the parents in your child's class. We'll meet online.
This is a great intro to the PD parenting approach! It's fun, informative and interactive.
What can I do about power struggles or kids who won't listen? How can I get kids to do their school work and chores without nagging or removing privileges? How do I raise a capable, grounded child?
You are not the only family who faces challenges with your kids! Good news: Positive Discipline (PD) parenting skills can bring some harmony into these relationships. It provides parents with non-punitive methods to encourage and empower children, and to help them develop importat life skills.
In our introductory class, you will learn some basic concepts of PD, participate in experiential activities, and go home with some useful tools to improve the climate at home.
Mary Lynn Fiske is a Certified PD Educator, PD Classroom Educator, and Empowering People in the Workplace Consultant. She has 2 children.
