The wines are:
a. 2005 Chateau de Beaucastel Chateauneuf du Pape is rated 95 by Wine Advocate, with these tasting notes: “Reminiscent of the 1995, the 2005 Chateauneuf du Pape is tight, structured and backward, with high acidity and tannin. Showing notes of blackcurrants, black raspberry, truffle, damp earth and cedar, with medium to full-bodied richness and depth, it needs another 3-5 years to reach the early stages of maturity, at which point it will hold for another decade or more.” (projected lifet o 2035)
b. 2015 Domaine du Pegau Chateauneuf du Pape Reservee is rated 96, with these tasting notes:” Now that it has been in bottle a while, the 2015 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Reservee is looking even better than I projected based on last year's prebottling sample. It's all violets, cherries, subtle allspice and clove and traditional garrigue notes of lavender and thyme. Full-bodied and rich, it's crazy complex, adding hints of tar and black olives on the long, silky finish. It should evolve beautifully over the next two decades.”

Wines will be shipped at the expense of the high bidder to addresses outside of 30 miles from Stillwater MN. Consideration will be given to the temperature outdoors before shipping so as not to compromise the wine.
