Item Description
This beautiful one-half ounce, 24-karat gold coin minted with an uncirculated finish honors the legacy of First Spouse Barbara Bush.
The obverse (heads) design depicts a portrait of Barbara Bush. Inscriptions are “BARBARA BUSH,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” “LIBERTY,” “2020,” “41st,” and “1989-1993.”
The reverse (tails) design depicts a person reading, with an open road symbolizing literacy, knowledge, and life’s journey. The sun represents the promise of a brighter future. Inscriptions are “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” “$10,” “1/2 OZ.,” and “.9999 FINE GOLD.”
This coin is encapsulated and packaged in a custom-designed, highly polished, dome-chested, lacquered hardwood presentation case and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.

Larger items can be picked up in Portland, ME or shipped at the winning bidder's expense. Shipping charges for USPS Flat Rate Boxes are as follows: $8 for small boxes, $14 for medium boxes, $19 for large boxes. We will try to use the smallest package size we can.
