Item Description

This certificate entitles you, and if you choose one other handler, to a morning or afternoon detection training session with expert trainer Don Blair. Don has over 40 year career of canine training experience began when he was a police officer working with law enforcement K9s. Since then he has worked for the Department of Homeland Security/Customs Border Protection Anti-terrorism Inspections and Special Enforcement Operations as well as canine training and research development programs in Auburn and elsewhere. He is an avid proponent of chicken training camps and is actively working to bring LIMA into the professional working dog world. He is an NACSW judge, a former SWGDOG Board Member and current member of the National Institute of Standards and Technology US Dept of Commerce Dogs and Sensors Subcommittee. He has extensive knowledge in all aspects of operational detection and security dog training and deployment. The winner may suggest topics to work on or may request that Don make suggestions regarding what to focus on during the training session. Location must be worked out between certificate winner and Don. Note: this certificate does not cover travel expenses for the handler or Don. Should the recipient choose to have Don travel to their location suitable travel compensation for Don would need to be determined.

Winners should be aware that Don does most of his private session training in the Chicago area. Value: over $500. This certificate has no redeemable cash value. This certificate must be redeemed by Aug 1, 2022.
