Item Description

Two bottles of our family's signature Swiss wines, Chasselas and Gamay. Presented in our handmade wooden boxes with a card and wine key. These two wines are staples in Switzerland. Gamay was brought over by my great grandfather, Edmond Ramu, in 1936.

Our Gamay is a medium-light bodied red with very light tannin and fruit-forward on the pallet. Chasselas is the most popularly grown grape, accounting for 25% of all vines grown, and allows for the terroir to be tasted through the wine. Nicknamed "The Breakfast Wine", Chasselas is great for just about any occasion! Imported by Domaine Dardagny, a Swiss wine import company focused on representing the historic family vineyards of Switzerland.

The Ramu family has been making wine for over 400 years outside of Geneva in Dardagny and it is our pleasure to share our family's wine with the United States for the first time. Visit www.ddiwine.com for more information on pairings and history.
