Item Description
This is for a set of duck prints by Richard Sloan. The set includes a signed print of Mallards on the Pond, Two Ducks, and Pintail Pair.
Richard Sloan (1935-2007) is known as North America's "Dean Of Rainforest Painters." His paintings have been exhibited at the National Geographic Society's Explorers Hall, the American Museum of Natural History, the Carnegie Museum of Art, the Gilcrease Museum, the Royal Scottish Academy, and many other museums and galleries.
Sloan was commissioned by the World Wildlife Fund to design postage stamps and first-day covers for Trinidad, Tobago, Guatemala, the Philippines, and the Falkland Islands. The University Of Arizona Press published The Raptors Of Arizona, which featured 42 of his paintings. He was inducted into the Arizona Outdoor Hall of Fame in August of 2003.
