In 2017 fires raged through the Napa Valley and impacted so many in Northern California, including members of our Bernese Mountain Dog community.

In response, 50 people from across Canada, the U.S., and Australia came together and each made at least one block of a quilt to show their support. The "10,000 Mile Quilters" made 163 blocks that were used to assemble three unique quilts and three pillowcases that were donated to the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Northern California.

We're very grateful for this amazing gift filled with love and are auctioning them to raise money for pet disaster relief and preparedness in Northern California.

The quilt we are auctioning here measures 58" x 67" and is made of 20 blocks. The front has a beautiful apple green background and the back is mottled charcoal.

Photos show the entirety of the front, a sample block, and a closeup of the stitching. The quilt is also signed by the original quilters with a patch on the rear.

A one-of-a-kind quilt that will enhance any decor!

The share of the auction's proceeds that will be distributed to the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Northern California will go towards funding an Animal Disaster Relief Trailer for Sonoma County Animal Services to support their wildfire- and other disaster-relief efforts for Bay Area pets.
