Item Description
So this one is a little different ... you get this item for 1 year. And then you give it back :). Each year ... we add the winning bidders name on a plaque. Join Carl Rosberg, Reo Hatfield, Laurie & Ric Landes, and previous 'renters' of the Swift 1805.
The Swift is beautiful artisan work done by local attorney, engineer, fiction writer, Rotarian, Ymca member, and hobbiest that loved to build model ships - Dan Schorsch. Dan passed away 3 years ago but left a legacy of love and impact ... and this beatiful boat that we share every year with a new donor.
The Swift replica from 1805 is encompassed in an elegant glass case. Dan spent over 200 hours of handcrafted work using Walnut, Lemon, Basswood, & Mahogany.
It has fully working rigging with antique hand sewn sales. Win it every year if you like ... make your annual contribution through the auction and we get to remember Dan every year :).
Item Special Note
This item is for local bidders only ... unless you are in driving distance. We'll add your name onto the plaque and let you know when it's ready for pick up!
The top auction bid online will then be tranferred to the opening bid on the night of the party.
