Item Description

Bundle of 3 Wines from Cesar Toxqui Cellars:

  • Heirloom Siete (Signature Red Blend)
  • 2016 Sangiovese
  • 2018 Grand Reserve Zinfandel

Heirloom Siete | Our signature Red Blend continues to impress discern wine aficionados. A full-bodied wine with dark fruit aromas and ripe tannins that is sure to pairs well with meat dishes and other gourmet dishes.

2016 Sangiovese. Our grapes are sourced from Mendocino County. Natural fermentation produces wines with texture and finesse. Neutral French oak barrels aged for 36 months. It exhibits flavors of blackberry, chocolate, and toasted espresso bean. The acidity is a noticeable trait that is well received from well grown Sangiovese grapes. It is a mild-bodied wine, dark fruit aromas and ripe tannins that is sure to complement an array of gourmet dishes. Enjoy and Share!

2018 Grand Reserve Zinfandel. Cesar Toxqui Cellars has developed an excellent reputation for producing exceptional Zinfandels from Mendocino and Sonoma vineyards. Always trying to source from vineyards that are dry-farmed and old vines. For our 2018 Zinfandel Grand Reserve, we were very fortunate to source grapes from a 50-year-old vineyard in Mendocino County. Head-trained vines and dry farming are the common denominators to survive many California winters and sunny days to mature genuinely unique grapes. This full-bodied Zinfandel has 10% Petite Sirah to add more body and color. Blackberry, chocolate, cassis flavors, and a depth of age are well integrated into this 2018 Zinfandel Grand Reserve.

About Cesar Toxqui Cellars
CESAR TOXQUI moved to Mendocino County from Mexico when he was just sixteen years old. His first job (in the wine industry) was tying down grape vines at the famous Fetzer Vineyards. Little did he know that it was the beginning of a very exciting journey eventually leading him to create his own wine label. Under the tutelage of distinguished winemaker Jesse Tidwell, Cesar gained a deep love for winemaking. Continuing as Cellar’s Master for Brutocao Cellars, Cesar began to study the art of grape growing. Working full-time and attending school on evenings and weekends he completed his senior thesis on organically grown grapes. Cesar strongly believes that fine wine begins with fine grapes. Individually selected grapes combined with Cesar’s love and passion of winemaking produces a new hue of fine wines for all to enjoy. Visit www.toxqui.com to learn more.
