Item Description
Dave Jankowski, Assistant Program Lead for the Traverse City program, has mastered fishing on the Au Sable. In addition to being a great fly angler, Dave is an author, and the Lead Instructor for Bamboo Bend, which is a "Pinnacle Program" in the Midwest region. At Bamboo Bend, 6 participants who have advanced rod building skills learned at PHWFF, will spend a week in Grayling, Michigan building, and then fishing, their own bamboo fly rod. You can learn more about Bamboo Bend on our Holy Waters website as well as reading Dave's work which will be featured on our Burton's to Wakeley column also on our website. The Au Sable is noted for its Brown Drake hatch and Dave has crafted three males and three females which will come in their own PHWFF Fly Box.
