Item Description
Long-time friends Michael Sebastiani and Paul Giusto decided to pave their own wine road as stewards of the Highway 12 name. With their long-term partnerships with premium growers, they continue to produce high quality, value wines from Sonoma County and other California growing regions.
This coveted and revered Proprietary Blend is yet another stunning display of when epic vineyards and exceptional winemaking collide. From the color—a deep dark plum—to the nose, a gripping whiff of violets, cherries, leather and tobacco, this beauty promises to be a bold sipper. The bright black fruit, blueberry, and cassis are complemented by a juxtaposition of wood and metal shavings, creating a nice harmony. Toasty oak, black tea leaves and grippy tannins round this out to present a solid collectible.
Pairs well with Italian sausage and wild mushroom pizza, braised lamb shanks with rosemary and... empty wine glasses! Drinking well now or hold until 2025.
Item Special Note
Wine can be collected from the station in Rohnert Park by appointment starting Thursday September 30, 2021.
Can also be shipped at the bidder's expense within California only.
