Item Description
Atlas Silk Bandana
Size 21" x 21"
100% Mulberry Silk, Handmade
Designed in the US. Made by craftswomen in India. The technique used in creating the pattern on the fabric is called 'Bandhani'. It is an intricate tie-dye method where over a thousand dots (or more) are individually hand tied before dipping the fabric in dye. The tied fabric areas resist dye and leave a dot pattern on the fabric. Arranging these dots strategically creates the beautiful 'pixelated' patterns you see here. It can take up to 4 weeks to tie this bandana.
Bandana is sent wrapped in eco-friendly tissue in a Harkoi paper box and mailed in a compostable mailer.
