Item Description
Join Sam Reid, President of the Wood Island Life Saving Station Association, for a special tour of the rare early Coast Guard station.
Located on a small island in the Piscataqua River, this tour is a highly prized event of an exceptional historic restoration project.
The lucky winner will enjoy a two hour visit and learn about rescue boats, special cannons and even stand in the look out tower.
This building will soon become a maritime museum, but it is not yet open to the public so this is unique offering.
Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.
A group of 10 to 12 total participants can be accommodated.
Mutually convenient schedule for the spring / summer of 2022.
