Item Description
8.5"L, 2"W bowl. This serving spoon is a blend of form and function; the design is a fusion of a spoon bowl with a Norwegian work knife (Brukskniv) shaped handle. An internal steel rod serves the function of the blade's tang to connect the bowl with the handle; that allowed placement of pewter and vulcanized fiber inserts. The wood is tiger maple which was finished with food-safe Danish oil. Artist: Jeff Ward, Vesterheim Ribbon winner.
