Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Trustee Richard Jay-Alexander has been a performer, stage manager, producer, director and more. Widely known for his 12 years as executive director working with Cameron Mackintosh on the Broadway and North American productions of the fabled, acclaimed Tony Award-winning Les Misérables, he continued as executive producer of The Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, Five Guys Named Moe and Stephen Sondheim's Putting It Together.
Dubbed "the Diva Whisperer," he has since worked with many of the greatest artists in the world in recording studios and stages across the globe including Betty Buckley, Kristin Chenoweth, Ricky Martin, Bette Midler, Johnny Mathis, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Bernadette Peters and, most exclusively, Barbra Streisand.
